DyneRoadRecordings
Dyne Road Recordings is a new type of record label, run by the
students for the students at the Institute. The name, the logo,
the artwork, the acts, the live nights, it’s all put together by
a dedicated label team comprising of students from across
all courses.
The team at Dyne Road Recordings is driven to develop the future
stars of the music industry, both on stage and off it, collaborating
across the industry to create an incredible new opportunity.
Accordingly, DRR has already engaged with industry partners
including online PR specialists Charm Factory and Cha Cha Man
for professional radio promotion to support the teamwith getting
the word out there.
Put simply, DRR is creating a new kind of creative and inclusive label
ethos like no other seen before. A record label completely run by the
students, for the students!
The label put out its first release in May 2014, a four track EP
entitled‘EP I’, featuring four acts that showcased a cross section
of the bourgeoning talent emerging from the Institute’s campus.
Withmusic on the EP delivered by VICE Collective, Naomi Shalom,
Frasier Banks and Joseph, the EP represented an excitingmusical
journey, built entirely upon the students’drive and passion for
creating, recording and promoting newmusic.
