Daughter
Elena Tonra, Igor Haefeli and Remi
Aguilella met at the Institute and
now performunder the artist name of
Daughter. After signing a deal with 4AD
records, the home of artists such as Bon
Iver, Iron &Wine andThe National, they
went on to performonThe Late Show
with David Letterman in October 2012.
Their debut album 'If You Leave' charted
at Number 16 in the UK and gained the
'Albumof theYear' at the Association of
Independent Music Awards 2013. With
performances at all the major music
festivals including Glastonbury, Coachella,
and Somerset House, and touring the
world, the band are a real success story
that continues to develop.

Árni Árnason
Whilst studying at the Institute, Árni
played with Sony/RCA signed artists
Judy and Bailey Tzuke, as well as The
NewDevices and JJ Pistolet. Along with
Pistolet, Árni formedThe Vaccines whose
first record was the UK’s best-selling
debut albumof 2011. Their second album
reached Number 1 in the UK charts and
went gold in three weeks. The Vaccines
have toured widely in the UK, Europe and
the US and played at the Reading/Leeds
Festival, Glastonbury and Hyde Park.
They have supportedThe Arctic Monkeys,
Muse and the Rolling Stones with their
biggest headline show being the 02
Arena in May 2013.

Luke Patterson
Luke Patterson has achieved immense
chart success with his band Clean Bandit.
The bandmaintained Number One status
for three weeks with their hit 'Rather Be'
beating competition fromBeyonce and
Will.I.Am for the top spot. The song has
also broken Spotify records by being the
most streamed song in the UK in a week
(1.09m streams), surpassing Daft Punk's
'Get Lucky'. Luke plays alongside his
brother Jack Patterson (bass, sax, decks),
Grace Chatto (strings) andMilan Neil
Amin-Smith (strings).

Foxes
Louisa Allen, otherwise known as Foxes,
is an award winning graduate of our
Diploma programme. Signed to RCA,
her debut album came out in May 2014.
In 2013 she was featured on German
producer Zedd's song Clarity for which
they were awarded the 2014 Grammy
Award for Best Dance Recording.
This year Foxes made her TV acting
debut on DoctorWho, opened for
PharrellWilliam's EuropeanTour
and has alsomodeled for Topshop.

Vic Jamieson
In 2013 Vic worked with Fazer and the
BBC Symphony Orchestra, writing a piece
and performing it at The Urban Classic
Prom 2013 held at the Royal Albert Hall.
The performance was broadcast live on
BBC3, BBC Radio1 and BBC Radio 1Xtra.
Vic subsequently had the main role in
Fazer’s Urban Symphony Documentary,
broadcast on BBC3. Vic is a founding
member of Lexy andThe Kill, with which
he supported Blondie, Paloma Faith
andWe Are Scientists, and played the
BBC Introducing Stage at Underground
Festival. He has recently been playing
with MNEK at festivals such as Lovebox
and supporting Sam Smith at
Somerset House.
Agus Gonzalez-Lancharro
Agus graduated from the Institute’s BMus
Degree in 2010 and set up his Music and
Sound Design Company, Really Slow
Motion, in 2013. The company’s first
album, Cosmogeny, featuredmusic
written by some of today’s most
promising composers, including
IvanTorrent! They have contributed
to advertising campaigns for Disney
Pictures, Universal Pictures, Paramount,
Warner Bros, and the Superbowl among
others. Agus has also worked as Editor in
Chief for a publishing company that deals
with several music magazines.

Denai Moore
Denai Moore has been very busy these
last few years. After signing a publishing
deal she has gone on to support folk giant
Iron &Wine on the European leg of his
tour andTomOdell at his sell-out show
at Somerset House. After playing David
Lynch’s famous Silencio bar in Paris, Denai
played the Green Man Festival inWales
and the BBC Introducing stage at Reading
and Leeds Festival in 2013. In 2014 she
built on this success, playing Roskilde,
Secret Garden Party and Bestival and was
collaborated with SBTRKT on his second
album 'WonderWhereWe Land'.

JoelleMoses
Having reached the final of the first series
of The Voice, Joelle secured a role in the
West End hit musical ‘The Bodyguard’
starring as Rachel Marron (based on
Whitney Houston’s role in the smash-hit
film) during the matinee showing and
acting as the understudy to the award-
winning Beverly Knight, for which she
was nominated for the Understudy of
theYear Award 2014. In 2014 she also
performed for the Swedish Royal Family
at the Crown Princess Victoria's birthday.
PollyMoney
In 2013, at just 18 years old, Polly was
spotted by Matt Bellamy and asked to
support Muse at The Stade de France in
front of an audience of 80,000 the very
next weekend. Later that year saw the
launch of her Debut EP, 'That Guy'
recorded in April at Sony ATV's Soho
studio. In 2014 Polly played the BBC
Introducing stage at Glastonbury
Festival as well as numerous other
summer festivals around the UK.

The Carnabys
The Carnabys are a five-piece rock band
with Institute alumni Jack Mercer on
vocals and Ben Gittins on guitar.
Both studied on the Institute’s intensive
one-year Higher Diploma in Music
Performance 2011-2012. In 2013,
The Carnabys won the grand prize in
Hard Rock Cafe's global band competition
Hard Rock Rising, which saw themplay
at Hard Rock Calling in London's Olympic
Park supporting Bruce Springsteen.
After Hard Rock CallingThe Carnabys
went on a world tour and released
an album. In 2014 they played the
Strongbow Stage at the Isle ofWight
Festival, before heading off to support
Blondie on their UK tour.

Natasha North
Natasha joined the BA Songwriting
programme in 2011 as a classical musician
who had yet to start writing songs. After a
great first year, she set up her own record
label, Green Oak Records, to release debut
EP 'Walking onWater', secured plays on
BBC Radio 2 and BBC introducing and
reached no 11 in the iTunes Singer-
Songwriter charts. In 2014 as she reached
the end of her Degree, Natasha signed
to LAB Records for the release of her third
EP, Fire. That summer saw her play the Isle
ofWight Festival, BBC Introducing stages
at Reading & Leeds Festivals, as well as
supporting Suzanne Vega and (fellow
Institute student) Mike Dingamon tour.
Tony Robinson
Tony Robinson is a professional drummer
andmulti-instrumentalist who has
performed and toured internationally,
taught in the UK and Australia, and
appeared as a conference speaker.
Whilst studying at the Institute Tony
wrote and released his first music book
‘Beyond the Grades’, and graduated with
First Class Honours as well as the prize
for ‘Best Overall’musician. Tony went on
study for an MA in Jazz at The RoyalWelsh
College of Music & Drama (RWCMD)
where he began to collaborate with
AmandaWhiting, a professional jazz
harpist. Together they formed a successful
jazz trio‘TheWhiting on theWall’and
launched Pedal Sliders Harp Books,
a publishing business which releases
books aimed at aspiring jazz harpists.
