George graduated from the Guildhall
School of Music and Drama in 2009,
where he studied jazz piano along with
Malcolm Edmonstone, Barry Green and
Paul Roberts. He has worked as a pianist,
composer, arranger andmusical director
with artists including Goldie, The Heritage
Orchestra (with Unkle), The Metropole
Orchestra (with Chaka Khan), Frances
Ruffelle, and Dave Liebman to name a
few. He has also worked with some of
the UK's finest jazz musicians including
Gareth Lockrane, Phil Robson, Christine
Tobin, and JimHart. George also worked
as piano tutor to the actor Dustin
Hoffman for his piano-playing role in
the movie "Last Chance Harvey”and
is currently working with soul vocalist
Kwabs, Berlin-based singer-songwriter
JimKroft and his own group, George
Moore Ensemble.

Hailing fromMassachusetts USA,
Chris has over 20 years of experience.
After attending Berkeley in Boston,
he immediately became a busy touring
and recording guitarist. He has worked
with Caribbean Soca/Calypso artist Arrow,
featuring on his massive hit 'Hot Hot Hot'
as well as Sister Sledge, Odyssey, Mick
Ronson and Felix Pappalardi. Recently
he has recorded several albums and
performed with songwriter Jeb Loy
Nichols and continues to be a very
busy studio and live guitar player.

Tommy has worked on the 'Channel 4 -
Comedy Gala Live at the O2’, supported
by Rich Hall with Sense of Sound, and
'MONKEY: Journey to theWest' by
Damon Albarn (Blur, and Gorillaz).
He has also appeared on 'BBC1 Imagine...
Amazing Journey with Damon Albarn
and Jamie Hewlett' and he has made a
number of TV and radio appearances in
Malaysia, including AstroTalent Quest
(equivalent to X Factor). Recently Tommy
was a featured vocalist for Austrian dance
artist MARTY (Galaxy Records) and the
debut track has listed in ClublandVol.5,
and DirtyImpact ClubTour Vol.5 released
by Universal Music.

Misha has a wealth of experience in
all areas of performance, composition,
music technology and worldmusic.
As well as being an accomplished and
versatile guitarist, he is also a notable
arranger/programmer, composer
andmusic producer. His credits include
Mika, JohnWest (Cosy Powell, Royal
Hunt), Kate Robbins (Phoenix Nights,
Spitting Image), Tony Hawks (comedian/
musician) Antonio Forcione (Trilok Gurtu,
Birelli Lagrene), Mike Teranna (Yngwie
Malmsteen, Steve Lukather), Luciano
Pavarotti, Harry Hill, 19 Management,
Red Note, HayleyWestenra, BBC,
Channel 4 & ITV andmany more.
Misha also runs a busy recording
studio and has his own publishing/
recording company.

Simone Niles (MMus) is a leading vocal
and performance coach and an author
on the specialty of performance
enhancement. Simone has performed
at The Royal Albert Hall and Barbican
just to name a few, as well as the famous
'House of Blues' (Los Angeles). She has
worked with artists such as Eddy Grant
andThirdWorld and has collaborated
with a host of artists and DJs including
Jeremy Healy and Alex Paterson. She has
led a number of large-scale vocal
ensembles, including Sense of Sound's
Friday Late at the Victoria and Albert
Museum and the Olympic Torch project
at the Southbank Centre.

Andy is an Indie guitarist and
songwriter. During his time as the
guitarist in the bandThe Crimea he
was signed toWarner Bros. The Crimea
regularly made it into John Peels’ festive
fifty and had a UK top 40 hit single.
Andy recorded with top producers
including Dennis Herring (Elvis Costello,
Modest Mouse), Chris Shaw (Bob Dylan,
Super Furry Animals) & Dave Allen
(the Cure). He has played all the major
UK festivals and supported the likes of
Snow Patrol, Stereophonics, Primal
Scream, The Killers, Echo & the Bunnymen,
Johnny Marr, Regina Spektor, Billy Corgan
and Ash. He has also appeared onmajor
radio & television shows in Britain
and the U.S.

Kat is a graduate of the Institute, during
her time in London she has performed
alongside some of the UK's finest
musicians such as jazz pianist and singer/
songwriter Jamie Cullum, Pitbull, Skepta,
NatalieWilliams andThe Delays. Kat is
now an extremely busy private teacher
as well as a very busy gigging vocalist.
Most recently Kat toured with the
Brazilian rapper Aggro Santos. She has
also been in the studio with artists and
companies such as Cock’n’Bull Kid (Moshi
Moshi records), Saint Saviour (Groove
Armada), Damian Reynolds (X-Factor,
Britain’s Got Talent), MushroomRecords,
LiamHowe (Sneaker Pimps), the BBC,
Sir TimRice, Nokia, and the Chinese
National Television.

Richard began gigging at a young age
in the workingmen's club scene of the
North East. In 2001, he moved to London
to study with notable teachers Justin
Scott, Paul Elliot andTomMeadows and
whilst getting a degree in popular music,
began to establish himself as both a
player and teacher in the city. Richard
currently splits his time between working
at the Institute and writing, touring and
recording with his bandWill Can Sing.
Will Can Sing signed to US indie label
Upper 11 Records last summer and
recently spent time in Oslo, recording
withWaterfall.
Anjali Perinparaja

Anjali is a jazz and soul singer/pianist,
songwriter and arranger and has gained
Grade 8 in both classical piano and violin.
In 2004 she gained a place on the highly
regardedMasters course in Jazz
Performance and Arranging at The
Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
She has performed at great jazz venues
around the UK and Europe including the
legendary Ronnie Scotts' and 606 Club.
She has also performed at many jazz
festivals including the Montreux Jazz
Festival, where she performed for Quincy
Jones and the Love Supreme Jazz festival
in 2013. Her first album, ‘First Reflection’,
released in 2007 on Jazzizit Records, was
widely celebrated in the jazz press and
counted Courtney Pine as a particular fan.

Holly achieved a first class honours from
the Academy of Contemporary Music
in 2009 and has gone on to sing backing
vocals for acts such as Reel People, The
PB Underground, The Producers (Trevor
Horn, Lol Creme, Stephen Lipson, Ash
Soan) Scouting for Girls, TheWombats,
Beverly Knight, Alexandra Burke, Omar,
Peter Andre, KimWilde, and Patrick Allen
(The Drifters). As an original member of
the ACMGospel Choir (BBC1’s Last Choir
Standing 2008) Holly has become an
accomplished arranger and choir leader,
as well as a key member of the choir
when performing live and recording
in the studio.

A gifted Italian guitarist, withmore
than twenty five years’experience as
a performer, Alessandro gained his
academic qualifications in Jazz, Solfeggio
and Philosophy. Among others, he has
studied with Mick Goodrick, JimKelly,
BobMintzer, Jeff Stout and Larry Monroe.
Influenced by the style of several
guitarists such as Al Di Meola, Allan
Holdsworth, Pat Metheny to name few,
he loves improvisation, playing across the
genres and exploring unusual techniques
such as slap and artificial harmonics.
He wrote several articles for Guitar
Techniques magazine and also the
guitar technique modules for the BACM
degree. His principal areas of research are;
the art of improvisation, harmony applied
on the guitar and the development of
musical creativity as a spiritual path.

Music Business
Ramage (FHEA) began inmusic
manufacturing / production in the
1980's, progressing froma record pressing
plant to a junior role at Polydor records.
He worked in product management and
marketing at Polydor andWarners to be
appointed Director of Marketing at EMI in
1993 (working with Kate Bush, Pink Floyd,
Diana Ross amongmany others).
He moved into publishing A&R, enjoying
twelve years at BMG and a further two at
Sony ATV, working with a broad spectrum
of artists and writers (Coldplay, Keane,
Richard Hawley, Neil Hannon, Feist, Elvis
Costello, The Cure etc). Ramage remains
a devotedmusic lover, gig-goer and
industry observer. He alsomanages
artists, lectures about the business
and fulfils various music consultancies.
Andy Reynolds

Andy has been involved in all aspects
of the music business for over 30 years.
Starting out as a musician/performer, his
love of the live experience led Andy into
becoming a concert tour manager and
live audio engineer, working on tours with
bands such as The Foo Fighters and U2.
Andy still works on tours and has also run
his own artist management company and
record label. Andy has written two books
about the live music business, ‘The Tour
Book’, and‘Roadie, Inc.’.
