Taet Chesterton is a songwriter and vocalist who has enjoyed a game-changing 2023 thanks to the release of the track 'Hide N Seek'

Studying our one-year Diploma in Creative Music Performance back in 2013, Taet's career has grown steadily via a number of co-writes.

This year has been her most high-profile to date with a couple of key releases seeing her pass the one million music streams figure.

'Hide N Seek' has been a significant track written and performed with producer Toddla T and Mancunian rapper Aitch.

The song, which is based on a sample from Ladycop's underground house classic 'To Be Real', has been the soundtrack to the summer and made tune of the week across BBC Radio 1 by DJs ranging from Jordan North to Jack Saunders.

Commenting on the record, Taet said:

Toddla is one of my favourite ppl to work with and when he played me the prod, in 15 minutes it was written and recorded. Then when I heard Aitch's verse's I knew it was a wrap!! I hope everyone loves it like we do!"

Taet was also one of the co-writers on 'Love Me Like This', a song recorded by South Korean girl group Nmixx for their first extended play 'Expérgo' released in March 2023.

She was also the featured vocalist on 'What You Gonna Do'  by CLIK3D, another track reaching more than one million streams.
