Neil Cartwright is founder and director of
Million Media, a digital marketing agency
working with leading companies in
the music sector. It works closely
with Jamiroquai, helping the band to
manage their digital assets since 2005.
Recently it launchedThe Artist Network
as a resource
and training academy for musicians.
Neil was named inThe Observer's
"Courvoisier Future 500" as one of the
500 people who will help shape the future
of the UK. He was previously Head of New
Media at Sony Music UK, responsible for
negotiating the company’s first foray into
digital downloads at a time whenmost
people had never heard of an iPod.
He successfully worked with artists and
managers to create some of the most
innovative and effective artist websites
in the world. He is Chair of a music charity
called Community Music who help
people from all walks of life get in to
the music business.

David has been a professional keyboard
player since the 80s and his performing
credits include playing for The Drifters
(6 years Assistant M.D. and Arranger),
Michael Ball, Jane McDonald,
The Brotherhood of Man, TheWild
Angels, The Real Thing, The Pasadenas,
MartyWilde, BobMonkhouse,
The Counterfeit Stones, Jimmy James
and the Vagabonds, Lyn Paul and
Rose-Marie. He has performed at The Cork
Jazz Festival and various European Jazz
Festivals andThe Royal Albert Hall. David
spent three months at the Sporting Club
in Monte Carlo (supporting Elton John,
Rod Stewart, Supertramp, Bonnie Tyler,
Paul Anka amongst others).

David has sung with amongst others
Beyoncé Knowles, Westlife, Elton John,
Annie Lennox, Lionel Richie, Kylie and
BringMe The Horizon. He can be heard
onTV shows including‘The X Factor’,
‘Britain’s Got Talent’and the 2012 ITV
series ‘Superstar’. He was part of the
2013 vocal coaching team for The Voice.
David sung for the‘The Prince’s Trust
30th Anniversary’and for Lionel Richie
during the‘BBC Prom in the Park’.
He followed this up with‘ThankYou
for the Music’, a celebration of the music
of Abba and in the summer of 2010
for ‘Elvis Forever’. In 2011 David toured
withWest End star Ramin Karimloo
and has recently completed a UK tour
with RussellWatson.

In 1993 Gianluca attended the
Diploma course at the Guitar Institute
of Technology in Los Angeles.
After graduating he went back to Italy
where he played as a sessionmusician
for many Italian big names like Piero Pelu,
Eugenio Finardi, Fiordaliso, Grazia Di
Michele, andTazenda. In the late nineties
Gianluca started a collaboration with
Sardinian singer Andrea Parodi which
lead to a tour and a live recording with
guitar legend Al Di Meola and israeli
singer Noa. He began teaching at the
Institute in 2006 and still regularly
performs with different bands in
festivals and venues in the UK
and abroad.
Pete Cunnah

Pete is best known as lead singer with
UK house act D:ream. During the 1990s
he penned“Things Can only Get Better”
and“U RThe Best thing”#1 and 5
respectively. By the end of the 90’s
he had 12 top 20 singles and 2 top 5
albums with over 3 million records sold.
Pete then wrote and produced for other
acts notably A1 andThe Honeyz. He was
nominated for Brit & Ivor Novello awards
and he was awarded the Hot Press best
act as well as the DMC best act. Pete has
travelled on two world tours supporting
Take That. He currently produces UK BBC’s
The Voice contestant Ben Kelly.
John Currie

John has been playing bass for over forty
years and is one of the most versatile and
experienced freelance bassists on the
London scene today. He has recorded for
almost every major TV company in the UK
includingmany sessions for the BBC. He
has performed at concerts, festivals and
theatres around the world. Since the
1980s he has played regularly inmusical
theatre in theWest End, other London
theatres and around the UK and toured
for eight years in the 1990s with American
vocal quartet The Drifters. John has
recently been a regular at theWest End
musical Mamma Mia and performed at
a Paralympic Flame concert.

A busy pianist and session keyboard
player, Bruno has recorded with various
international artists at Abbey Road,
Metropolis and Air Studios, as well as
appearing on national TV. He is a sought
after jazz pianist on the UK circuit, who
has performed with his own quartet at
the legendary Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club.
In 2011 he had the honour of playing for
President Obama and Her Majesty Queen
Elizabeth II. He is also a producer and
arranger and has composedmusic
for documentaries and theatre. Bruno
performs regularly around London and
recently released“Songs for Duke”a duo
albumof original compositions inspired
by Duke Ellington.

With a background in writing and
performing, Sophie has also worked
for major record labels Sony UK and Syco
as well as the BBC and has taught for
over 20 years in vocals and songwriting.
In 2008, Sophie led the team that founded
the Institute’s Songwriting degree
programme, which has since become
established as one of the UK's leading
songwriting courses. Sophie also
works co-writing on folk, pop and
country singer-songwriter projects
in London and co-writes regularly in
Nashville. Her songwriting graduates
range fromDaughter and Denai Moore
to RiseTo Remain and her writing partners
include LauraWelsh (Polydor), Bobby
Tomberlin (One More Day), Loick Essien
(RCA and Universal), Bruce Hughes
(Dr. Luke & Jason Mraz) and Georgia
Thomas (Nashville TV show).
Professionally, Sophie has worked
with Simon Cowell, Jamie Oliver, Westlife,
Kelly Clarkson, Charlotte Church and Il
Divo and product managed Barbra
Streisand and Neil Diamond Albums

Mike joined theWest Sussex Institute
of Higher Education in the early 1990s,
gaining a first class Honours degree in
Music and Related Arts. Although a
performer through-out his degree (he is a
classical pianist), he decided that the road
of musicology and analysis was for him;
and so embarked on a Masters degree
under the careful guidance of Professor
David Osmond-Smith and Professor
Julian Johnson at The University of Sussex.
There, Mike looked at two fundamental
areas of research; ‘Analytical Theory’and
‘Aesthetics and Ideology’. As such, Mike
gained his PhDwith the completion of
a thesis titled‘The Emergence of the
Anarcho-Punk Scene of the 1980s’.
Mike is co-founder of the Punk Scholars
Network, an international collection of
scholars that are involved in the research
of punk, and has three co-edited volumes
in the pipeline.

Gabor is a multi-award winning solo artist
with gold and platinum selling albums.
He records for DrumChannel in LA, is a
Hudson Music (NewYork) artist and was
the drummer on‘Thriller Live’ the Michael
Jackson show and world tour for three
years. He has shared the stage with
Billy Cobham, Tommy Campbell, Jojo
Mayer, Ian Paice, Steve Smith, Benny
Greb, Gavin Harrison, Carl Palmer, Chris
Coleman and Dom Famularo. He held

Dan Drury

Dan originally studied jazz at the Royal
Academy of Music. His most recent work
includes international performances with
Madness, numerous UK and international
performances with Sister Sledge, and
international festivals with the James
Taylor Quartet. Other notable artists Dan
has worked with include NatalieWilliams'
Soul Family at Ronnie Scotts, legendary
Meters drummer Zigaboo Modaliste
andWill Young. West-end performances
include Thriller, I Can't Sing, Priscilla
Queen of the Desert and Never
Forget. Dan is a member of Acid Jazz
signed Filthy Six; a soul jazz band with
whomhe has recorded three albums.
The band have performed on both
Mark Lamarr and Craig Charles' radio
shows, and at Glastonbury, Pizza Express
Dean Street, the Jazz Cafe and Ronnie
Scotts. Other notable venues he has
performed at include the Royal Albert
Hall, Hammersmith Apollo and Queen
Elizabeth Hall.

Tim is a producer / songwriter / musician.
His own band, Sweet Billy Pilgrim, was
nominated for a Mercury Music award
in 2009. The band have released three
critically acclaimed albums, toured with
Jamie Cullum, Portico Quartet and Field
Music, Rokia Traoré, The Futureheads and
performed withTheWho at the Royal
Albert Hall. Timhas remixed artists
including David Sylvian, Catherine Anne
Davies, Bat for Lashes and StevenWilson
of Porcupine Tree; co-writtenmaterial
with 80‘s punk legendToyah, folk
singer Beth Orton andMarcella Detroit;
performed on albums by David Sylvian,
