The BA (Hons) Creative Musicianship is a programme designed for
artists who are driven by the need to create original material. It is aimed
at the creative musician who is interested in not only expanding their
musicianship, but also increasing their experience of creating new
music in a variety of contexts. The development of your own artistic
identity is what sits at the heart of the BACM.
In this course you will develop your principal instrument individually
through one-to-one instrumental tuition across all three years and
within a group workshop environment. You will also be given
the opportunity to discover and analyse a range of genres with
the intention of informing your own artistic development and
compositional ‘voice’.
