Terry Gregory | Bass Tutor | ICMP London

Terry Gregory is Programme Leader for the MMus in Popular Music Performance.

Terry has spent much of his career recording and performing on the international stage, notably as the bassist of choice for some of Britain’s finest guitarists: jazz virtuoso, Martin Taylor and his award winning Spirit of Django, ex-Genesis guitarist Steve Hackett, modern jazz-metal maestro Shaun Baxter, and fusion quartet Four Corners. This professional performing experience informs both Terry’s teaching and research interests, which include performance traditions, professional expectations, and performance anxiety.

Terry is currently composing for and performing with Quadrant, a modern jazz-fusion quartet.

He has a both a Master of Music (MMus), and a Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching and Learning (PGCTL) and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.
