Jenny Howe | Vocal Tutor | ICMP London

Jenny Howe is a talented vocalist with twenty-five years’ experience singing with internationally-renowned artists. Her voice can be heard on a number of commercial releases and several feature films.

Jenny joined the National Youth Jazz Orchestra as a vocalist in 1992, leading to tours in the UK and abroad and appearances on several of their album releases. Upon leaving the NYJO in 1996, she joined the English jazz-funk band Shakatak to tour in Japan. Later, she sang lead vocals on several successful dance records, including hits for Playpen and Shut Up and Dance. Her voice has also featured on the soundtrack to the feature films Dream, Hot Gold, and James Ellroy’s L.A. Sheriff’s Homicide, the later ultimately taking her to perform at the Cannes Film Festival. TV credits include TFI Friday, BBC Hall of Fame, and Channel 4 comedy series Barking.

Jenny’s album Second Take, recorded with pianist/composer Chris Lee was released in 2008 to critical acclaim.
