Vixen (She/Her) is a UK-born, LA-based performer, songwriter and content creator.

A graduate on our 2014 BMus (Hons) Guitar programme, she is an expert guitarist, as well as performing bass and backing vocals.

Since graduating, Vixen has internationally toured as a session musician for the likes of Rina Sawayama, Joy Crookes, MNEK, Sigala, Cher Lloyd, Fickle Friends, Kara Marni, Hamzaa and Jvck James. These endeavours have also led to her being accredited on projects alongside Zara Larsson, Craig David and The BBC Symphony Orchestra.

As a guitarist, Vixen has graced some incredible spaces and events, including; Abbey Road Studios, BBC Maida Vale Studios, Bestival, Glastonbury, Lovebox, The O2 Arena, Royal Albert Hall, T In The Park, V Festival and Wireless Festival. She has recorded live sessions for the The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, NPR Tiny Desk Concert, BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge, BBC Three, ITV1, BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Radio 3, MTV, Capital FM and Vevo.

Vixen has been working closely with Rina Sawayama, both as a touring musician and songwriter. Vixen co-wrote Sawayama’s 'This Hell', which was the lead single for her second album 'Hold the Girl', and the pair also won Best Live Act at the NME Awards (2022). She's now a Jackson Guitar artist too.

With 450k+ followers on TikTok, she has fun showcasing her musical skills, interacting with her fan-base, covering LGBTQIA+ topics, as well as fashion and comedic content.

As a student at the ICMP, Vixen took advantage of the opportunities posted by our Music Careers and Industry Hub gaining the chance to perform at the 2013 Urban Proms in the Royal Albert Hall, and has worked alongside fellow students performing as Lexi and the Kill and supporting the legendary act Blondie.
